Data show that last week the domestic chemical market showed a slight shock consolidation. Of the 68 chemical products monitored, 17 were up products, accounting for 25% of the monitored products; 13 products were falling prices, accounting for 19.1% of the monitored products. Driven by international crude oil, performance of alkanes, aromatics and downstream polyurethane products remained good, but due to the downstream demand is gradually recovering, most chemical products entered the period of in-depth adjustment, and acrylic acid, ethyl acetate, phthalic anhydride, DOP and other products even fell in price. .

Data show that the top five gainers list is: propane, an increase of 3.97%; nitric acid, an increase of 2.36%; toluene, an increase of 1.62%; compound fertilizer, an increase of 1.43%; calcium carbide, an increase of 1.03%. The top five dropouts were: Acrylic acid (fine), a decrease of 3.32%; Ethylene glycol, a decrease of 1.80%; Ethyl acetate, a decrease of 1.67%; DOP, a decrease of 1.18%; Propylene, a decrease of 1.12%. There are 38 products with stable prices, accounting for 55.9% of the monitored products.

The price of domestic chemical products will continue to be driven mainly by cost, but the atmosphere in the market is sluggish, and we must guard against the unfavorable situation caused by poor transmission of cost pressure. In the middle and late March, market demand is expected to increase, and the atmosphere of trading will be warmer. Affected by strong international crude oil shocks, the recent pure benzene-aniline-MDI industrial chain, toluene/xylene-TDI industrial chain, para-xylene-PTA and downstream industrial chain are still expected to maintain a good momentum.
